COVID-19 update – changes to our services
We have put in measures to try and ensure that staff can remain at work so we can continue to provide you with quality care under exceptional circumstances. This means that there are some changes to our service delivery which you need to be aware of. From Monday (30th March) we will assess every patient request by telephone, before we can offer you a face to face appointment.


From 30th March the front door will be locked and access will only be allowed for patients with a booked appointment or specific instructions from us. Please call, DO NOT COME IN – If you turn up at the surgery without having an appointment we will be unable to deal with your request.


Clinicians will triage every new request before anyone attends the practice. You need to tell us if you have either a recent onset of continuous cough (a cough during the day and night) and/or a raised temperature, no taste or smell. If you confirm ‘YES’ to either of the above you must self-isolate, but you do not need to be tested. Please contact NHS111 if you are unwell and in need of medical assistance.

DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE, OR ANY OTHER HEALTHCARE SETTING.

The NHS is well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases and has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.
