Policy

Regulation 12 of the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 states:

  1. The registered person must give the Commission a statement of purpose containing the information listed in Schedule 3.
    2. The registered person must keep under review and, where appropriate, revise the statement of purpose.
    3. The registered person must provide written details of any revision to the statement of purpose to the Commission within 28 days of any such revision.

Aims and Objectives of the Practice

- To develop Captain French Surgery as a first call provider of primary care
- To ensure that we deliver accessible, high quality care that is patient centred, evidence based and in line with current best practice
- To ensure that as an organisation we comply with current employment law and best practice. To value our staff through appraisal, training and development processes and adherence to current best practice Health and Safety Practice
- To optimise our use of information and related technologies in support of business and clinical functions
- To ensure good working relationships with external organisations including patient groups
- To participate in and promote multidisciplinary clinical training and approaches within the practice
- To encourage and value feedback and perspectives in shaping services.

- To collaborate with the other practices as part of the Kendal Primary Care Network.
