Repeat Prescriptions

From 1st October 2021, your community pharmacy stopped ordering your repeat medication on your behalf, this was a nationwide initiative to decrease the amount of medicines wasted throughout the NHS.

You are now expected to order your repeat medication in one of the following ways:

  • NHS App / via our contact us form  - https://florey.accurx.com/p/A82025
  • Community Pharmacy App
  • Tick off what you need on the repeat order slip and drop the request in the letterbox outside the surgery
  • Send via post

If you can’t order by these means and don’t have a family member, friend or carer able to order for you, please contact us to discuss.

Being in charge of ordering your own repeat prescriptions ensures you get the medicine you need at the time you need it. This can help prevent the build-up of unused or old medicines at home which improves safety, reduces medicines waste and saves valuable NHS resources.

Please note we do not accept repeat medication requests over the phone. We need to keep our lines free for patients requiring appointments.

We are not able to facilitate the delivery of medication and this must be organised through your nominated pharmacy who may offer this service.
